The Baby Tender

When we learned that our daughter Eleanor was on the way I decided to build a cradle boat for her. I settled on the Baby Tender design from Jordan Wood Boats. It was fun to build. I recommend *not* using cheap doorskins for planking though the design would be conducive to a good marine plywood.

I also opted not to put the frames in since I, as a nervous new parent, thought my daughter might catch her finders in them. Maybe now I'll go back and fit them. ;-)

You can never have too many clamps...
