A Flight on B-17 "Nine-O-Nine"
On Thursday, 22 May 2003 Cael and I had a chance to go for a 30 minute flight aboard a restored B-17. BEST FLIGHT EVER. Great day, not too many people, flying at about 2000 feet, 160mph. We had the run of the plane once we were airborn. The nose is a great place to sit. The radio operator's space was open so we could stand with our heads sticking out into the air. Fastest convertable ride of your life!
