In addition to providing support for The Gunroom I run a smaller mailing list, lissun-bag (for Lissun Bay Area Gathering), dedicated to the activities of Gunroom members here in the San Francisco Bay Area. This list includes many members of the Gunroom proper and some who are not members of that fine crew.
Created years ago to facilitate a gathering the lissun-bag list has acted as life-boat, bridge, and of course event facilitator. I've recently migrated the list to a new server using new mailing list management software (ezmlm for those interested in such things). The new software comes with a new variation commands to maintain one's account. This page presents those commands.
Note that to prevent the automated scraping of email addresses that might be used to spam my mailhost (posting to the list is by members only and I'll immediately eliminated spammers who subscribe) I've represented each address below with the @ character substituted by the string "_at_". Just change it back to have the actual address you should use. Also, the general question of who can subscribe to the list has been discussed a few times over the years and the general consensus is that it should remain an open-subscription list (i.e. I don't have to approve every new subscription). This is true to the spirit of the Gunroom and has not posed a serious problem in many years of list operation.

With the addition or removal of addresses, I'll send a confirmation
message to that address. When you receive it, simply reply to it
to complete the transaction. This makes it more difficult for bad guys
to add or delete you without your knowledge or consent.
